This is a set of Certificates that I think accompanied medals at the annual Northwood Wheelers dinner and prizegiving. While these certificates reflect performances through the year, they are all signed and dated late in the year, usually around November. I found these in my father's box of cycling memorabilia.

All of these (bar one) were awarded to David Saunders, the sole exception being one awarded to Brian Major. I don't know why this one was in my father's possession 70 odd years later!

These certificates date from 1953 to 1955. Those from 1955 are really rather nice. They are printed on quite heavy paper/card and they are rather more elaborate than those from previous years, including colour and gold printing.
