March began with the annual Hard Ride to Winslow; medium gear (72") '25' - 1:10:30, it was a cold morning; the Brooks B57 saddle bought back in May last year has a broken rail - taken to Prangley's - presumably for repair.

The third Easter tour to Cheddar Gorge; the repaired B57 saddle reappears; a disappinting '25'; improved in the '30'; school trip to Flatford Mill, disapproval because David decided to go by bike, not by train;
