Another lean year for mentions of Northwood Wheelers in the local press. This is the only item, though it does mention Ron Hatherley, the club's fast man of the time

Middlesex Road Club win Combine title

The result of the West London Combine B.A.R. Championship demended on the times done in the final 25-mile time trial last Sunday. The winner of the event was Ron Hatherley (Northwood Wheelers), with a time of 1.0.27. The Northwood Wheelers also had the fastest team with 3.6.39. The Middlesex R.C. riders, Arch Harding and Johnny Dean, didn't until yesterday, have 25-mile times. Johnny Dean did 1.3.50 and Arch harding, with a puncture, doing 1.9.0 just managed to hold off the South Ruislip C.C. challenge to the team championship.

The individual winner was Dick Poole with an average speed of over 23 miles an hour. Second was Brian Hawes, South Ruislip C.C.; third Johnny Dean; fourth Eddie Williams, South Ruislip C.C., and fifth Arch Harding.

Arch Harding was unlucky in getting a puncture, as he stood a good chance of winning the individual award.

Another principal club rider was Fred Burrell, 1.2.24; Fred unfortunately only rode a "25" and "50"; otherwise he would have been up with the leaders in the championship.
